Recently, I reconnected with an old girlfriend from High School and we've been chatting about every other day talking about the old days and discussing our lives now, with children. It's as if we never even missed those 20 years. It's been wonderful catching up and discovering things we still have in common after all these years.
Tonight we were discussing names, and how we chose the names for our kids, how early (or not) in our pregnancies we picked them out, whether or not they were named after relatives, and other names that may have been on our lists. Well she inquired about my middle name and I told her "Lynn", but felt hurt that she didn't know, or didn't remember. I told her such by letting her know that I remembered her middle name, just to get my point across (although, really, did I have a point?) Anyway, she tells me there is no way I could know her middle name because she didn't have one. I said "What about Brooklyn?"(which I thought was her middle name) and she told me it was just a name she liked and"told" people it was her middle name. Lied to for all these years. I really liked the name too Just goes to show that even when you think you know...You may not!
Time for bed,
Thanks for stopping by
