Mome reads Mommy, My daughter's way to spell it when she was younger... It stuck. My son calls me Mome... just like it looks. I now sign all my notes to them "Love, Mome". It's our inside secret and makes them smile. I always want them to smile.

Wine Spotlight 10/3

I apologize for the tardiness of this post. It's been quite hectic around the house (I'll get to that a little later) so I've gotten a little behind. I'll make it up to you, Promise. A quick note before the spotlight, I've had requests for more info on wine pairings and other info, I've been posting responses in the comments, if you would like the info e-mailed to you instead, feel free to e-mail me or let me know when you comment.

Okay, here is the first Spotlight of October...
Conundrum is a unique, non-traditional white wine blend created to offer enough complexity to match the creative dishes being offered by today’s generation of chefs. The “conundrum,” or puzzle, of this wine is in guessing which grapes make up the blend. First introduced in 1989 by the Wagner family of Caymus Vineyards, Conundrum now stands on its own as an independent brand.
