Mome reads Mommy, My daughter's way to spell it when she was younger... It stuck. My son calls me Mome... just like it looks. I now sign all my notes to them "Love, Mome". It's our inside secret and makes them smile. I always want them to smile.

Wine Spotlight 10/7 - Without Wine

Okay, so this should be my usual wine spotlight, but I came across something so unusual (I've never heard of it) that I had to share.

Originally I wanted to do a spotlight on Saki (I had sushi for lunch, so it seemed appropriate). I googled saki to see if I could get a picture of my usual brand and came across this..

WOKKA SAKi is a blend of micro distilled grain vodka, fine Japanese saki, and a subtle flavour of Asian fruit.
East meet
s west, saki meets vodka, WOKKA SAKi is the fusion of two noble cultures, and inspired by the awesome beauty of "Snow Monsters" found around Japan's Asahi mountains between January and March.
How awesome does that sound? Click the picture for more information, and if anyone has tried it, I'd love to hear what you think. I'll be trying to get some and will update when I do.

  1. That does sound really interesting! I'm especially intrigued by the fact that it's inspired by the beauty of the "Snow Monsters". :-) If nothing else, its a great conversation piece! Sound like it tastes good too. :-P
