Error Codes and what They Mean to Your PC
Do you ever get error messages from your PC? Do you know what they mean? I, for one, do not. I usually ignore it, reboot if necessary, and hope that gets rid of it. Fortunately, for me, this usually resolves the problem, at least for the moment. Now there is a comprehensive website that will not only tell me what the error message is, they will guide me on it's impact to my system and how to remove it if need be.
Take for instance error 5080. You simply go to pc-library.com/errors and look for the error code number. In this case I got this information:
Name of error:ERROR_CLUSTER_RESNAME_NOT_FOUND
Cause of error:The specified resource name is not supported by this resource DLL. This may be due to a bad (or changed) name supplied to the resource DLL.
The site goes even further by recommending different scans to prevent system slow down, find registry related errors, and identify all outdated drivers to solve the error.
The PC library, by Uniblue, is broken down into three databases pertaining to system errors and their definitions, port numbers and the applications associated with them, along with tips and tools to maximize the stability and performance of your computer.
Uniblue Systems Ltd. has received the Microsoft Gold Certified Partner seal and is offering this service at no cost because they believe everyone should be able to run whatever system they own at it's maximum potential.
