Mome reads Mommy, My daughter's way to spell it when she was younger... It stuck. My son calls me Mome... just like it looks. I now sign all my notes to them "Love, Mome". It's our inside secret and makes them smile. I always want them to smile.

In Need of a New Host

While I haven't been blogging for all that long (less than 6 months) and don't claim to know all that much about design and programming and hosting. I do know that I am not satisfied with one of my current hosts. Obviously, it is not the host of this blog, as that would be foolish to post here.
I'm referring to the host of one of my other blogs, my first blog actually, back when I really knew nothing. Their format is okay, it is, for the most part, easy to navigate. The ability to add products other than their own is limited and the site has started to crash, 2 times in the last month. It wasn't down long on either occasion, but down nonetheless. They also have put some pretty annoying ads on the site and several times I've had ads (with sound) pop while I'm typing posts. Needless to say, I am looking for some other webhosting options.

I stumbled upon webhostinggeeks.com which lists all the top webhosting sites, their features, and reviews from users. I'll admit that the information is a little overwhelming. They've done an excellent job of breaking down the features from basic to bonus, but I'm not sure what exactly it is I'm looking for. It's no fault of theirs. It's my inability to choose.

For blog hosting they state that bluehost is the best. Bluehost offers unlimited storage, data transfer, and domain hosting. They also have a 30 day money back guarantee, 24/7 tech support, and server monitoring 365 days of the year. I've heard other bloggers boast about bluehost, so I guess I'll have to check them out. I'll also accept any other advice you would like to share.
