Mome reads Mommy, My daughter's way to spell it when she was younger... It stuck. My son calls me Mome... just like it looks. I now sign all my notes to them "Love, Mome". It's our inside secret and makes them smile. I always want them to smile.

Papa's Christmas gift...a Breitling Chronomat?

Why are the In-Laws always so hard to buy for? I swear mine have everything, and are quite particular about the things they have or get. I don't mean that in a bad way, they just know what they like and believe that "if it's not broken, no need to fix it."
My Father In Law has bought the same watch for the last 20 years. He's had, I believe, 7, and he always buys the exact same one. I understand the" if it's not broke don't fix it", I also understand that it only cost $20. But if he has felt the need to buy 7 of them, why not get one that lasts a little longer? I'm not sure they even stop working, I know he has given Hunter 2 over the years (and he's 5) and I think the only thing not working is the light on the digital display, but that still means it's broken, right?

If I had the money, I would love to splurge on a fancy watch for him. I was looking earlier and found this extravagant breitling chronomat evolution watch. Usually priced at $6760, The Watchery has it for only $4500. That's a savings of 33%.
I seriously doubt that I will ever be in a position to spend this kind of money on a watch, but if I could, I can not think of anyone more deserving than my Father-In-Law.
I wonder if I could get them to send me a Breitling box? I would love to see the look on his face when he opened it on Christmas day...only to find his favorite Timex inside.
