I'll admit it. I'm a little camera happy when it comes to the kids, and they are now conditioned to it. I see them snuggling on the couch or doing something cute together and I rush for the camera, telling them to hold still, which they never do.
Then there are days like yesterday morning, when they decide they are being cute, and tell me to "take a picture." So why is it that when I retrieve my camera, they want to ham it up, make crazy faces, and in general, ruin the photo opp? Boogie is the worst. He usually does not want his picture taken and his Kindergarten picture this year looks like he was terrified, he says "it was a stranger, so he was scared." I thought about signing him up for retakes, but thought we should remember the "scared" little boy, as I'm sure he'll grow out of it quick.
While they were hamming it up yesterday morning, I did manage to get some good ones...crazy faces and all.
