Mome reads Mommy, My daughter's way to spell it when she was younger... It stuck. My son calls me Mome... just like it looks. I now sign all my notes to them "Love, Mome". It's our inside secret and makes them smile. I always want them to smile.

What we did Today...All Day

I mentioned earlier about the ornaments I "baked" last night for the girls to decorate this morning. They spent a little time painting and glittering their ornaments and then moved on to Lego's and bed jumping. They returned to their painting projects after lunch for about 30 minutes, adding sequins to their dried art.
When Boogie and his friend got off the bus, they immediately arrived for their ornaments to decorate and have been at it since. While I'm getting a little tired of picking all the sequins off the floor that keep getting dumped, the quiet of busy little workers is bliss.
Microwave Ornaments
4 cups flour
1 cup Salt
1 1/2 cups warm water
Mix ingredients into a dough. Roll out. Use cookie cutters to cut out your favorite shapes. Use a straw to punch out a hole at the top for hanging. Put 5-6 cookies on a microwave plate and cook for 3-5 minutes and your ready to decorate.
