While signing up and checking out Barefoot Republic for myself, I noticed that they have several (25) Beach Rescue projects scheduled for this summer. I was a little disappointed that they are not coming anywhere near me (our beaches could use a little help) because I thought it would be a GREAT way to help our community and get the kids involved in helping out. Barefoot is working with Surfrider and is dedicated to getting our beaches back to "barefoot- friendly" and dispatches teams who, along with local volunteers, help clean our beaches of debris and make them safer to enjoy.
