Mome reads Mommy, My daughter's way to spell it when she was younger... It stuck. My son calls me Mome... just like it looks. I now sign all my notes to them "Love, Mome". It's our inside secret and makes them smile. I always want them to smile.

Alzheimer's Memory Walk

It's that time of year again. My mom's group is dedicated to supporting one of our member's and honor her grandmother who is ill with Alzheimer's. This is one of those illnesses that I truly believe we will all be affected by at some point in our lives. Whether it's a grandparent, our own parents, a close friend or even a spouse, this disease is bound to "hit home."

This Saturday we will do our annual walk to support this cause, bring attention to this horrible disease, and raise some money to help researchers find potential cures before it gets one of us.

Won't you help?

  1. Best of luck to you, this is a hideous disease, affects 30,000 million people and one so little is known about. It robs people of their dignity.

Best of luck to you, will see if I can help.

  2. Be sure and stop by the bridge; posted some info I think you'll find interesting.

Thanks for stopping by. Let me know you were here.
