While cruisin' the Internet this morning on my laptop, looking for new craft ideas for my corks and foils, I came across a fun idea for the bottles. I'll have to see if I can actually get a hole in the bottle without busting it first, but think this would be a fun holiday craft and gift for other wine lovers.
You will need:
Wine bottle
Christmas Lights
Drill with diamond or glass cutting bit
Decorations
I've read that putting duck tape over area you plan to drill the hole into helps the bottle from breaking.
Drill a hole in the back bottom of bottle, feed lights through hole with plug on outside. Decorate with ribbon, beads, paint, whatever you fancy. For other tips and ideas click here.
