Get the suitcases packed, the car tuned up, make any rv repairs that need to be done.
That's what most people are doing. It's Spring Break Time.
We are not going anywhere.
We were supposed to be going to Michigan to meet up with family and friends, but Hubster has been looking for a job and had thought he would be starting a new job next week. Not the case.
I was going to take the kids to Raleigh for a couple days to hang out with their cousin, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen either. We've got nothing. This pending job situation has killed all our plans. Waiting and waiting for nothing to happen. It's frustrating.
Now we find ourselves (Hubster and I) both available to do something without enough time to properly plan anything. We also don't have the security of a job (for him) to make us comfortable spending what we would if he had still been employed.
We'll make it fun, though. Family time. The kids are usually with me during the week and with Dad on the weekends (while I work) so it will be nice to have a week to all be together. The Busch Gardens Passes are already paid for so no guilt there. We also have family passes to the Virginia Zoo and the Air and Space Museum so there's plenty to do without having to spend extra money. I'll admit I'm bummed that we'll be spending the time at home. I am excited about having the four of us together.
...And there's always the Beach House we've rented for a week this Summer.
