Mome reads Mommy, My daughter's way to spell it when she was younger... It stuck. My son calls me Mome... just like it looks. I now sign all my notes to them "Love, Mome". It's our inside secret and makes them smile. I always want them to smile.

Wordless Wednesday ~ Storytime Live

Another thing we did over Spring Break was take the kids to Storytime Live with Dora and Friends. The sign said "No Cameras". The only people without cameras were the people with phones. Just Sayin.

  1. How sad that you would stoop to name-calling. I am sure you are probably a nice person, however, using Clay Aiken to get hits in a negative way is not good.

The person doesn't even begin to look like Clay. Sorry, he is too busy getting ready for his 6th album release and summer tour.....plus his PBS special that is coming up.

I hope you will remove his name from this blog.

  2. Anonymous~ Getting hits was never on my mind when posting this and I have absolutely NOTHING against Clay Aiken. Seeing this character immediately brought him to mind and my husband and I as well as the other parents around us all got a chuckle out of it. It's just how we saw it and not meant to slam or bring negative attention to anybody. Sorry you find my humor so offensive.

  3. The turtle or the dude behind him? I'm guessing the turtle right? I have new found respect for Clay since he came out of the closet. That takes courage.

  4. I'd believe it too. And I don't find that offensive at all. I don't mind Clay. And it does kinda look like him. Whats so horrible about him singing and playing around in a kids show?

  6. I see you have some bashers. I didn't see anything wrong. It looks like the kids enjoyed themselves. Don't worry about the idiots. We all get them.
